Ashley is a self-described “die hard survival horror nerd”. She’s also a big gamer. If you’re on Xbox Live you can find her killing things as “DeathViaKitten“. Her game of choice is Gears of War, as evidenced by her large amount of Gears of War stuff. Oh, and that tattoo too.
She’s also got an Umbrella logo from Resident Evil on her wrist.
The umbrella logo was done by Sketch from Color Works tattoo in west Des Moines Iowa and the crimson omen was done by Eddie at Jaded Lotus.

Mark explains his bulbous tattoo:
The tattoo is an orbital diagram for hydrogen with quantum numbers 4,2,0 and the schrodinger equation under it. I’m about to graduate with a physics degree so I got this to commemorate my achievement.

Danny sent us his collection of geeky tattoos:
My name is Danny or Danny the G(r)eek. The artists were Julia Seizure on the Poke Ball. Rich Phipson on the Link Shield. Ross Turpin did the Lego brick and the R2D2 slot machine. This is the tattoo shop website http://starcrossedtattoo.com/ .
The reason why I got these is cause I was obsessed with pokemon and Lego wii games for a long time. I am stoked for the new Zelda game coming out this year and I will always love star wars till the day I die. The R2D2 slot machine is based on a painting I did a while back. Although Ross drew it up himself without looking at my painting.

Remember that awesome Abe-borg-ham Lincoln tattoo? Well it’s not the only piece of geeky ink that Michael has. Amongst a number of other tattoos he’s got a pretty awesome Star Fleet insignia as well as a great Twilight Zone leg sleeve.
Just like the Lincoln tattoo, they were done by Chris Krahn Boise Tattoo who has an amazing gallery of tattoos on their site.

When your parents name you Bastian, you basically have to get a Neverending Story tattoo, right? Well sure enough, Bastian G. went and inked the Auryn on his back. He says:
…this tattoo has especial significance for me, on a few levels. For one, I’ve always loved The Neverending Story; I watched it endlessly as a child, and go back to it from time to time even now, as an adult of 28 years. It resonates deeply with me, with the message to never let go of your childlike wonder, your imagination, your creativity, and your belief in the fantastic. Our dreams enrich and beautify our reality; if we lose sight of our dreams, life is dull and grey and without meaning. The Auryn is also a symbol of guidance and protection.
Aaron Reil of Jade Lotus Tattoo & Piercing in Burlington, VT inked this tattoo for Bastian.

Wow, now this is dedication to Doctor Who. Mike Schlodder sent in the pic of his Doctor Who backpiece with the following back story:
My Dad use to work the evening shift when I was a kid. When he got home just before midnight, he would wake me up and we would watch the classic Doctor Who on PBS til 1 am Monday to Friday. He introduced me to Doctor Who when I was 5 years old. Tom Baker was my first Doctor. When my Dad passed away 5 years ago from cancer, I wanted to get a tattoo to remind me of him and for what he made me fall in love with. Because of my Dad I fell in love with Doctor Who, science and forever being curious of the universe around us! This is for you Waldemar…..
